“Absinthe is the aphrodisiac of the self. The green fairy, who lives in the absinthe, wants your soul. But you are safe with me." ~ Bram Stokers' Dracula.
Absinthe is a strong alcoholic spirit that is known for it's anise flavor, bright green coloring & popularity with artists. It is made from botanicals & herbs such as anise, fennel, wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) &, the controversial additive, thujone. It was strongly believed that this additive was extremely dangerous due to it's hallucinogenic effects which is what caused the Absinthe ban in Europe & the U.S. in 1915. After many years of research & testing, the ban was lifted in the 1990's & can now be found all over the world.
This scent is a well balanced combination of star anise, fennel, spicy cinnamon, cassia, nutmeg, melissa, fresh green herbal notes, with base notes of amber and woods.
*Any slight discoloration in the wax is due to the essential oils in the fragrance

*To ensure our customers get the best quality product, all our candles and wax melts are made to order and hand-poured in small batches. We use a natural soy wax blend, high quality fragrance oils and are all 100% cruelty free.
Always trim your wicks to 1/8” or 1/4” before every burn.
Allow a full melt pool to develop at the top of the candle before blowing out. Otherwise it causes a tunneling effect which could, eventually, drown out your wick due to un-melted wax built up on the sides.
Keep soy candles out of direct sunlight.
Never leave your candle burning for than 4 hours! This will overheat the glass which can compromise the jar, causing it to crack.
When there is less than 1/2” left of wax, dispose of the candle properly.
Never leave your candles unattended!
